Model 2500 HPRM
The HPRM has been optimized for NIR-Raman spectroscopy. The module receives laser light from single mode fiber-coupled lasers (785nm and 671nm). After beam conditioning inside the HPRM the laser light is emitted through a pinhole and delivered to a measurement stage.
There the laser light is focused on a sample. Scattered light is collected and follows the laser light path back to the HPRM, which it enters through the same pinhole. From there it is guided into a laser suppression stage and then into River Diagnostics’ proprietary multi-channel spectrometer.
Throughput from pinhole to CCD-detector is greater than 75%, independent of wavelength shift or polarization.
Ease of use
Creating your own dedicated Raman setup is easy. It only requires you to couple the laser light emitted by the HPRM into your measurement stage and to align the laser light path to the sample area. As soon as the optics of your measurement stage focus the laser light on a sample, you will find that the signal detection path is automatically perfectly aligned. You are ready to start recording Raman spectra.
These features make the HPRM the ideal building block of a Raman setup for customers who use their own dedicated measurement stage and require the ultimate in sensitivity, reliability and ease-of-use.
By means of an optional divider stage, up to 3 measurement stages can be coupled to a single HPRM.
Raman microspectroscopy
The Model 2500 HPRM is the “Raman heart” of River Diagnostics’ modular technology platform
Turn the microscope of your choice into the most sensitive Raman micro-spectrometer available by coupling an HPRM to one of its optical ports!
River Diagnostics’ engineers will be glad to assist you to ensure optimal coupling of the HPRM.
