Bas Dirkson - Chief Executive Officer

Bas joined River Diagnostics in 2010. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development within the healthcare industry. He has a bachelor degree in Electronics and certificates in business administration from Babson College, Wellesley, MA.

 Gerwin Puppels - Chief Technology Officer

Gerwin co-founded River Diagnostics in 2002. He has over 20 years of experience in academic and industrial applications and product development, based on Raman spectroscopy, and holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics.

Hugo Bakermans - Chief Operations Officer

Hugo joined River Diagnostics in 2009 and has over 15 years’ experiences in Development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management in the Healthcare Industry. Within River Diagnostics Hugo is responsible for all operational activities including Product Development and Customer Services.  He has a background (MSc, MBA) in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration.

Marlon Dijkshoorn - Chief Financial Officer

Marlon joined River Diagnostics in 2008. He has a broad experience in the finance arena. He worked in management positions for several multinational companies like Volvo, Foot Locker, and Numico. Next, he was CFO at Life Sciences Partners; one of Europe’s largest specialized life sciences investors. He has been involved in large ERP implementation projects, several mergers and acquisitions and has an extensive background in financial structuring, reporting, and planning.

Mark Priebe - North American President and General Manager of River Diagnostics Inc.

Mark has succeeded in bringing to market more than 20 new products and services in diagnostic instrumentation, point of care, rapid diagnostics and medical devices utilized in the public health, hospital, physician office, and over-the-counter markets. Mark gained his experience with Siemens Dade Behring as the Product Line General Manager for the $350 million Clinical chemistry segment. In addition he held positions as President and COO, VP Sales and Marketing and VP of Operations in other IVD companies focused on emerging rapid diagnostic technology. Mark's degree is from Marquette University/Medical College of Wisconsin and he is a certified Medical Technologist. He also attended the University of Miami Executive MBA Program. Mark is located at our office in Madison, Wisconsin.
