Contract research conducted at River Diagnostic's laboratories

River Diagnostics operates an advanced applications research and development laboratory at its facilities in the Netherlands.

This laboratory is available for contract research projects to be carried out for client companies and institutions interested in exploring applications of Raman Technology in their research programs.

Members of our expert scientific staff work together with clients to design and carry out research that satisfies client needs.

Projects can range from specific measurements defined in advance by clients to more complicated joint research projects where we combine our expertise to explore novel applications of specific (and frequently proprietary) interests of the client.

Our laboratory is staffed with Ph.D. level scientists with in-depth experience applying Raman spectroscopy to in vivo research and analysis of skin.

We work closely with our clients to design optimal experimental protocols, carry out the agreed program, and to process and interpret the data obtained. All work is carried out under conditions of strict confidentiality.

Panel Studies at the client's facilities

River Diagnostics also offers a unique “Lab on Wings” (“LoW”) service for clients who wish to conduct panel studies or other projects in their own facilities. 

This service allows client companies to conduct projects using panelists recruited from their own pool of volunteers.  Clients can also, if desired, carry out additional measurements, such as skin conductance, TEWL, or skin imaging to complement the Raman data. 

 

After a Lab on Wings study is contracted and scheduled, a Model 3510, will be delivered to the client laboratory, installed, checked, and fully calibrated on the day prior to the study.
